As mentioned
last week, a new little mid-range oriented Radeon card was to be
released on Oct 23rd and indeed that has happened today; AMD/ATI
squeezes the HD 4830 512MB into its lineup at the sub $150 segment.
As the new entry point for the 48xx series, this card is aimed more
squarely at NVIDIAs 9800 GT and looks to give it a real run for its
money. It boasts 640 shader processors, a core clockspeed of 575 MHz
and memory clock of 1800 MHz.
Looking over the reviews to have hit the web thus far, the card looks
to pack quite a punch for the dollars spent. You can see how it shapes
up for yourself via the below links :

We'll keep the listing updated through the day as more coverage surfaces.
