Nintendo Co.'s U.S. game division on Fri. said that it will offer the Metallic Rose color a regular in the Nintendo DS lineup.

Beginning Mon., May 19, America Ferrera and Carrie Underwood will be featured in commercials for the Metallic Rose version of Nintendo DS.
The Nintendo DS held sales of 414,000 units in the month of Apr.
The handheld has sold more than 19.6 million units to date. It was launched in Nov. 2004 in the U.S.
Nintendo's Wii home video game console held the top spot in video game hardware sales in Apr., moving 714,000 units in the period.
