THIS RETRO-CONSOLE would of been a dream item 15 years ago for console fanboys world-wide.
It's a NES-SNES-Gensis player, and it's all good. Crunchgear has it pictured.
Xbox 360
According to Edge, the New Xbox Experience (NXE) has found its way onto various dodgy torrent sites.
Microsoft has said that there will be plenty of 'surprises' coming for the Xbox in 2009 - and that up to half of the features planned for the NXE were dumped due to time constraints.
The handheld Xbox has once again been dismissed by Microsoft.
PS3/PSP
Sony plans to sell PS3 games through a new line of "PoP" entertainment vending machines in the UK this Christmas.
Bad news for Sony - the PS3 allegedly has the lowest console attach rate, and considering its expense, this could impact Sony's financials somewhat.
Better news comes from sales in Europe - the PS3 has outsold the Xbox in 2008 (but not the Wii).
Wii/DS
The DSi is reportedly filled with 256MB of memory - and various pirate cards will no longer work in the new console, according to Eurogamer.
Bunnie's blog (via Gizmodo) goes one further and deconstructs the console - and finds an improved processor might be draining theconsole's battery life.
This hasn't stopped it being hacked already though.
It seems to be doing well though - Nintendo sold 170,000 units in its first two days.
